Requirements

  • Have videography & photography experience, with some experience shooting content professionally (ex. weddings, commercials, corporate events, etc.).
  • Have a strong working knowledge of professional mirrorless cameras (Canon preferred).
  • Be an integral part of our creative team, requiring a range of talents to deliver our final product with high quality and timeliness.
  • Adapt to change, be excited by new challenges, and be strong decision-makers while on the road.
  • Produce and return large quantities of impactful visual content in a timely manner that are continually adherent to brand standards.
  • Be prepared for regular travel, typically to and from clients within a 200-mile radius Tuesdays through Thursdays.
  • Have a valid driver’s license and vehicle transportation to travel to client shoots.
  • Be able to move up to 60 lbs. of equipment, be working and moving for several hours at a time, and occasionally work outdoors in the heat.
  • Have a top-notch customer service mindset, being on time, communicating well, and having a pleasant demeanor.
  • Have a working knowledge of modern communication tools like Zoom, Dropbox, Slack, and G-Suite, or be tech-savvy and able to learn quickly.
  • Be located in the Kansas City area.

Responsibilities

  • Capture photo and video according to RentVision’s spec to showcase communities to prospective residents in marketing.
  • Travel to client properties in and around your metro, generally within 200 miles, driving to and from these communities to capture photos and videos during the shoot timeframe.
  • Openness to travel for optional trips to different cities or states, including airline travel and overnight hotel stays.
  • Manage calendar by staying on top of your planned shoots, where they are, and what needs capturing.
  • Manage media by taking diligent notes and being meticulous with the prescribed media management process.
  • Communicate with apartment community staff on-site on a weekly basis, maintaining professionalism, great communication, and a pleasant demeanor.
  • Collaborate with a Media Team, staying in close contact with your direct manager and travel coordinator, and plugging into feedback and training from the editing and media production team.
