Requirements
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree and active bar membership.
- 8-10 years of legal experience, preferably in-house or at a major law firm.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to engage effectively with stakeholders.
- Proven ability to negotiate complex agreements considering various legal and commercial factors.
- Prior experience with M&A or complex deal structuring is preferred.
- Ability to develop and maintain strong relationships within the legal department.
- Self-motivated with the capability to work independently in a remote setup.
- Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail for contract review and drafting.
Responsibilities
- Work closely with business leaders to develop and drive contracting strategies related to strategic partnerships.
- Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of vendor and partnership agreements.
- Advise internal stakeholders on contract interpretation and compliance requirements.
- Maintain databases for vendor and partnership contracts.
- Prepare legal summaries and risk assessments on contract terms.
- Support contract management processes and implement workflow improvements.
- Coordinate with various teams on contract requirements and issues.
- Facilitate meetings to resolve contract-related challenges.
- Train non-legal teams on contract processes and legal requirements.
