Requirements
- Advanced knowledge of BI & reporting tools such as Power BI, SSRS, and SSAS
- Proficiency in T-SQL and query languages
- Solid understanding of database platforms and technologies such as MS SQL Server, MS Access, MySQL, OLTP, and OLAP
- Knowledge of MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)
- Skilled in completing assignments accurately and with attention to detail
- Ability to leverage AI and emerging technologies to streamline workflows, optimize operational processes, and contribute to company-wide innovation
- Ability to communicate effectively in both oral and written form (technical and non-technical information)
- Ability to communicate effectively directly with clients and at times serve as primary point of client contact
- Ability to work successfully as a member of a team and independently with minimal supervision
- Ability to work under pressure and meet close deadlines
- Demonstrated aptitude for learning new technology and adapting to evolving requirements
- Organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, or related discipline
- 8 years of experience with Business Intelligence development
Responsibilities
- Utilize knowledge of Power BI, SSRS, SSAS, and other BI tools to create interactive dashboards and reports
- Work with the software development team to integrate BI capabilities into other applications
- Work closely with stakeholders to understand their data needs and provide insights, using DAX, M Query, Python, R, or other analytic tools as required
- Use knowledge of relational database design and databases such as SQL Server to develop the database layer of applications
- Develop and maintain ETL processes, data warehouses, and database security strategies, ensuring seamless data integration for BI solutions
- Ensure data integrity, availability, and performance of databases
- Assist with all project communication and reporting; prepare project progress reports for internal and external stakeholders
- Use DevOps tools to manage Software Development Lifecycle and programming tasks
- Manage personal hours using company tools
