Requirements
- Exceptional Node/JavaScript skills
- Familiar with microservices architecture
- Actively participated in the development of a complex platform
- Good experience in interacting with databases (MySQL, MongoDB)
- Ability to quickly learn new technologies
- Good understanding of security practices
- Experience with blockchain integration (valuable)
- Comfortable with high-availability concepts (valuable)
- Ruby, Rust or C++ skills (a plus)
- Familiarity with Message queues (Redis), Caches and Job Queues (valuable)
Responsibilities
- Work on the development of the backend components of all Bitfinex Services (main trading application, Lightning Network support, Blockchain integrations)
- Develop and deploy innovative new features using agile methodologies
- Ensure all backend services remain smooth, responsive, and real-time for customers as the platform scales
- Build all API services and backend processes with the highest security principles and standards
