Requirements
- 4+ years of experience as a Looker Developer or in a BI/analytics development role
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, Data Analytics, or equivalent experience
- Strong Hands-on experience with Looker modeling, dashboarding, user attributes, and role-based access control
- Proficiency with BigQuery SQL, including analytical functions, performance tuning, and working with large datasets
- Familiarity with GCP data ecosystem (BigQuery, GCS, Dataform)
- Experience with Git for version control in Looker projects
- Strong understanding of dimensional modeling, semantic layers, and BI best practices
- Experience with Looker Conversational Analytics API
- Automation using Python is a plus
- Experience with embedded Looker analytics is a plus
Responsibilities
- Design and develop scalable data models using LookML
- Build and maintain dashboards, explores, and reports in Looker
- Implement and manage semantic layer governance and best practices
- Configure user attributes and role-based access control (RBAC)
- Optimize queries and performance in BigQuery
- Collaborate with data engineers on data pipeline and warehouse design
- Manage Looker projects using Git-based version control
- Support automation and API integrations (including Conversational Analytics API)
