Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in software engineering with a focus on clean, maintainable, and performant code
- 3+ years of professional experience working with both Python and C#
- Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and system design principles
- Proven ability to balance rapid feature delivery with long-term code quality and system stability
- Experience working in production environments with high reliability and performance requirements
- Strong troubleshooting skills and willingness to support systems in production, including on-call responsibilities
- Ability to clearly articulate technical concepts and contribute to architectural discussions
- Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field with strong academic performance
- Strong ownership mindset, reliability, and commitment to high-quality engineering standards
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain core trading system infrastructure
- Ensure high reliability, performance, and responsiveness in a demanding production environment
- Develop and maintain trading system components using Python and C#
- Collaborate with traders, middle office, and engineering stakeholders to translate business and market needs into technical solutions
- Deploy and operate trading system services in production environments
- Troubleshoot and resolve live system issues
- Identify and implement system improvements to enhance performance, reliability, and maintainability
- Participate in architecture discussions, code reviews, and technical design sessions
- Contribute to brainstorming sessions for trading strategies and system evolution
- Ensure systems are continuously optimized for rapidly changing market conditions
