Requirements
- 5+ years of commercial experience as a .NET Developer building production-grade backend systems
- Strong, hands-on experience with .NET 9 and Entity Framework Core
- Experience building REST APIs, middleware, dependency injection, configuration, background services
- Advanced knowledge of REST API design
- Advanced knowledge of PostgreSQL — schema design, indexing strategies, query optimization
- English - sufficient for written and spoken communication within the team
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, GitLab CI or similar)
- Basic awareness of containerization (Docker)
- Day-to-day use of coding assistant tools like Claude Code, Codex, GitHub Copilot or similar
Responsibilities
- Design, develop and maintain backend services and REST APIs in .NET 9 powering the educational platform
- Model the domain together with the team — translate product requirements into clean, maintainable code and a sensible data model in PostgreSQL
- Implement and evolve the data layer using Entity Framework 9 — entities, configurations, migrations, querying, and performance tuning
- Design API contracts
- Take ownership of features end-to-end — from refinement, through implementation and testing, to deployment
- Write clean, testable code and cover it with unit and integration tests; contribute to keeping the test suite healthy and meaningful
