Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Telecommunications, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience
- 5-6 years in a security-focused role
- Strong grasp of web security concepts
- Strong grasp of mobile security concepts
- Strong grasp of cloud security concepts
- Understanding of security protocols
- Understanding of basic cryptography
- Understanding of network security
- Familiarity with secure software development practices
- Proficient in Java
- Proficient in Python
- Proficient in shell scripting
- Understanding of vulnerability management
- Understanding of security observability
- Understanding of incident response
- Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills
- Adaptability & Curiosity: Eagerness to learn and stay updated with emerging technologies
- Strong communication, humility, and a collaborative spirit
- Excellent proficiency in English (written and spoken)
Responsibilities
- Enhance and evolve the cybersecurity program, emphasizing application security
- Design, implement, and manage vulnerability assessments
- Design, implement, and manage security scanning
- Design, implement, and manage security observability
- Design, implement, and manage incident response
- Design, implement, and manage technical security documentation
- Act as a trusted advisor, guiding and educating teams on security best practices
- Lead and optimise activities across all NIST Cyber Security Framework Functions, emphasising automation and continuous improvement
- Contribute to and improve the Cyber Security Architecture framework
- Actively engage in and elevate incident response processes
- Advocate for technical security awareness across the Tech and Product organisation
- Provide support and security guidance, contributing to secure software development
- Conduct technical design reviews
- Perform structured threat modelling to identify and mitigate potential risks
