Active Illinois Physical Therapist license
Experience working with school-aged students preferred
Experience supporting students with autism preferred
Strong communication skills
Strong parent coaching skills
Comfortable providing teletherapy
Comfortable providing consultative services

Responsibilities

Provide remote physical therapy services for an 11th-grade student with autism
Support a student receiving homebound instruction and requiring compensatory services
Begin services in a consultative model, focusing on coaching the parent
Implement strategies and support the student effectively
Collaborate with onsite providers as needed during the current school year
Provide fully virtual services during the Extended School Year (ESY)
Meet with the parent and district prior to the start of services
