Requirements
- Currently enrolled and completing studies between 2027 and mid-2028
- Interest and passion for cyber security
- Proficient with one or more modern program languages (Golang, Python or Java preferred)
- Ability to work with a range of Canvanauts from different backgrounds, with different expertise, and with different professional and personal needs
- Excited to explore AI tools and use them in smart, helpful ways to boost your workflow
- Able to commit to the 12-week, full-time summer program from early December 2026 to late February 2027
Responsibilities
- Collaborating with your assigned team to design, develop, test and maintain your intern project
- Developing and maintaining documentation for software development processes, procedures, and guidelines
- Developing your craft with some of the most talented engineers
- Interacting with a wide variety of stakeholders from both inside and outside your team to deliver high-quality work in a fast-paced environment
- Learning tools, libraries and services that support Canva engineers in building secure software
- Identifying security controls in Canva’s compute, platform engineering, and cloud infrastructure disciplines
- Learning new and emerging security technologies that make it easier to reliably maintain platform and infrastructure security
- Discovery and triage of vulnerabilities across Canva’s threat landscape
