Requirements
- 5+ years of professional experience in software development
- Focus on Node.js and React
- Proven experience in developing RESTful APIs (Node.js/Express or equivalent)
- Building intuitive UIs using React and modern frontend workflows (Redux, Hooks, etc.)
- Experience integrating with relational and/or NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB, MySQL, etc.)
- Strong understanding of software architecture
- Experience with cloud platforms (preferably Azure or AWS)
- Experience with DevOps practices (CI/CD, automated testing, containerization)
- Excellent problem-solving skills, adaptability, and attention to detail
- Effective communicator, able to collaborate with remote teams and stakeholders
- Background or interest in agriculture, geospatial data, or digital farm management solutions (preferred)
- Experience with TypeScript, GraphQL, React Native, or serverless computing (preferred)
- Previous experience in agile development environments and distributed, remote-first teams (preferred)
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and optimize scalable web applications using Node.js (backend/API) and React (frontend/UI)
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for requirements analysis, user experience (UX) design, technical planning, and implementation
- Engage in code reviews, testing, and DevOps processes to ensure code quality, maintainability, and system reliability
- Create and document robust, reusable components and APIs for geospatial and agricultural SaaS solutions
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve technical issues in a timely manner
- Stay up-to-date with the latest in JavaScript frameworks, cloud services, and web development trends
