Requirements

  • 5+ years of Technical Program Management including experience managing customer relationships, timelines, scopes, budgets and resources (specifically architects and engineers on custom developed software projects)
  • Proven experience successfully managing multiple customers concurrently maintaining a billable utilization of 85+%
  • Strong background managing data, AI, and or analytics projects
  • Direct client facing experience in a consulting or professional services organization
  • Hands-on experience as a Portfolio/Program Manager with expertise in Agile methodologies and a strong understanding of Waterfall project management.
  • Demonstrated expertise in Jira, Azure DevOps, MS Project and Microsoft Office Products (Excel).
  • Written technical documentation skills.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills including the ability to manage status updates and on-going communication at the Executive level.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and able to be self-directed in prioritizing your work.
  • Exceptional analytical and decision-making abilities.
  • Ability to exercise independent judgment and critical thinking.
  • Bachelor’s degree in IT or other technical related field preferred.
  • PMP and CSM certifications strong preference.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee multiple high visibility projects using agile best practices, ensuring alignment across internal teams, including sales and delivery, and key customer stakeholders.
  • Manage and scale large, strategic customer portfolios (>$10M).
  • Develop a robust delivery organization and nurture future leaders within the team.
  • Own and drive the success of projects across phData’s largest and most strategic customer.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with the internal sales and delivery organization to drive overall customer success.
  • Identify opportunities for expanding phData services within existing customers.
  • Be accountable for managing project risks and customer escalations and own the overall resolution working closely with both delivery and sales.
  • Mentor and develop a team of world-class consultants with cutting-edge technical skills.
  • Facilitate and coordinate innovation and / or onsite visits.
  • Develop a deep understanding of account history for each customer.
  • Be accountable for the overall delivery excellence across all projects.
  • Manage complex financials across a project portfolio.
  • Provide account health readouts (financials, project/s statuses, major blockers).
  • Be a key participant in building and executing account plans and strategic roadmaps.
  • Be responsible for documenting new and enhancing current PMO best practices.
