Job Details

Requirements

Board-certified Psychiatrist with active clinical experience
Active and unrestricted medical license(s) in Virginia, Texas, Florida, Georgia, or North Carolina
Multi-state licensure strongly preferred
Experience supervising or collaborating with Psychiatric Nurse Practitioners (e.g. NPs) is preferred
Comfortable prescribing medication when clinically appropriate and permitted by state law
Skilled at using online tools and technology to deliver virtual care
Strong communication skills and ability to provide timely consultation support
Previous telemedicine experience is a plus
Medical License (Required)

Responsibilities

Conduct video consultations and communicate with patients via telemedicine
Assess, diagnose, and treat patients, including prescribing medication when clinically appropriate
Provide supervision and oversight to Nurse Practitioners (NPs) through formal collaboration agreements
Complete required chart reviews and provide timely consultation support to NPs
Maintain responsiveness for collaboration duties in accordance with state requirements and UpLift standards
Coordinate care with UpLift’s network of therapists and other providers to ensure high-quality outcomes
Provide empathetic, evidence-based care while upholding UpLift’s clinical and service standards
Share product and workflow feedback with UpLift’s engineering and operations teams
