Job Details

Expert-level proficiency in Go, including concurrency, context handling, profiling, and race condition debugging
Proven experience designing and operating distributed, low-latency backend systems at scale
Strong understanding of system design principles including consistency, idempotency, and ordering guarantees
Solid database expertise, including schema design, transactions, and high-performance tuning
Hands-on experience with production systems
DevOps tooling (Docker, Kubernetes)
Cloud platforms (AWS/GCP)
Experience with observability and incident response in production environments
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-autonomy startup environment
Bonus: experience with real-time systems (WebSockets, pub/sub, event-driven architectures) or blockchain/Solana ecosystems

Design, build, and maintain low-latency Golang services supporting real-time prediction market functionality
Own backend systems including market creation, settlement, payout processing, and blockchain state integration
Architect scalable distributed systems capable of handling bursty, high-concurrency traffic patterns
Improve system reliability through enhanced caching, indexing, database design, and service architecture
Implement robust observability practices including logging, metrics, tracing, alerting, and production debugging
Participate in incident response, uptime management, and performance tuning of production systems
Collaborate closely with founders and product teams to define architecture and technical direction
Proactively propose system and product improvements, contributing to long-term engineering standards
