Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Digital Marketing, Communications, or a related field
- 5 years of experience working with SEO
- Experience managing enterprise-level SEO in complex environments
- Expertise with technical SEO, on-page/off-page tactics, and AI/SGE implications preferred
- Demonstrated success driving organic growth through topic authority and E-E-A-T
- Proficiency with SEO and analytics tools (Google Search Console, SEMrush, GA4)
- Understanding of web development principles, Semantic HTML, CSS basics, and schema
- Strong skills in data analysis, reporting, and presenting SEO value to non-technical stakeholders
- Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent analytical and strategic mindset
- Master’s degree preferred
- Healthcare or higher education experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Serve as designated SEO authority for the Medical Center and affiliates, establishing standards and guiding prioritization.
- Develop, execute, and measure search engine optimization strategies for websites.
- Partner with performance marketing, digital content, social marketing, central marketing, and communications teams to align strategies.
- Integrate modern SEO and Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) best practices into content creation, design, and site architecture.
- Build and maintain topic clusters and pillar pages to strengthen topical authority.
- Co-lead the evaluation, selection, and ongoing optimization of SEO tools and platforms.
- Oversee technical SEO elements such as site architecture, crawlability, page speed, structured data, and indexation.
- Develop, create, and provide SEO guidelines and training to writers, designers, and developers.
- Monitor and evaluate visibility, citation, and brand presence within AI-generated and zero-click search experiences.
- Analyze and report on KPIs, identify trends, and deliver clear, actionable insights to stakeholders.
