Requirements
- 5+ years of professional full-stack development experience using React and server-side JavaScript/TypeScript.
- 2+ years of hands-on experience building headless Shopify storefronts.
- Strong expertise with Shopify Hydrogen (preferably Hydrogen 2.0) and Remix fundamentals.
- Proficiency in React, JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML, and CSS.
- Experience working with Shopify Storefront API and GraphQL.
- Familiarity with modern frameworks and tooling such as Vite, Remix, or Next.js concepts.
- Experience integrating third-party eCommerce tools (e.g., Klaviyo, Yotpo, Contentful/Sanity, Algolia, Recharge).
- Strong understanding of DTC eCommerce metrics, conversion optimization, and performance engineering.
- Experience building and maintaining server-side integration logic and workflows.
- Ability to work effectively in agile, cross-functional teams and fast-paced environments.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain a high-performance headless Shopify storefront using Shopify Hydrogen, delivering features across client-side and server-rendered applications.
- Build reusable UI components, templates, and utilities optimized for conversion, scalability, and performance.
- Integrate Shopify Storefront and Admin APIs along with third-party services such as CMS, search, subscriptions, personalization, and review platforms.
- Implement and support server-side logic, including API orchestration, session handling, and commerce workflows.
- Optimize website performance across all layers (client, server, and edge), focusing on Core Web Vitals and overall site speed.
- Ensure accessibility (WCAG compliance), SEO best practices, and cross-browser compatibility across all storefront experiences.
- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues across storefront and integrated systems in a timely and effective manner.
- Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, deployment workflows, and environment management across modern hosting platforms.
- Participate in technical architecture discussions, especially around data-fetching strategies and integration design.
- Stay up to date with Shopify ecosystem advancements, Hydrogen updates, and headless commerce best practices.
