Requirements
- 5+ years of professional experience with Android Automotive OS (AAOS).
- Strong proficiency in Kotlin.
- Strong proficiency in Android development fundamentals.
- Solid experience using Flutter for cross-platform UI implementation.
- Confident in integrating RESTful APIs and backend services.
- Experience with vehicle data, embedded systems, infotainment, or automotive telemetry (bonus).
- Located in Europe and available for part-time remote engagement.
- Working hours aligned with European time zones.
- Proactive, detail-oriented, self-driven.
- Comfortable in a fast-paced, startup environment.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain applications for Android Automotive OS (AAOS), ensuring high-quality, scalable code.
- Implement cross-platform UIs using Flutter and integrate backend/cloud APIs with in-car systems.
- Collaborate with product and engineering teams to define technical architecture, feature design, and development strategy.
- Optionally work with vehicle data such as telemetry, sensors, and climate control systems to enhance in-car functionality.
- Contribute to technical documentation, code reviews, and team knowledge sharing to maintain best practices and coding standards.
- Support the delivery of innovative automotive solutions in a part-time, remote capacity while ensuring alignment with project goals.
