Job Details

Degree in a STEM subject (preferred but not required)
Experience working at a similar level in a mature Engineering team
Technical expertise with at least one frontend framework, ideally React
Experience working on backend systems (Kotlin, Ruby)
Experience in modern AI technologies (integrating LLM APIs, building AI-assisted workflows, or leveraging AI tools) is a plus
Proven track record demonstrating impact in previous roles
Highly driven and proactive
Meticulous, with high standards and obsessive attention to detail

Define the best technical solutions to business problems
Contribute to an architectural vision that will scale up to be the world's leading research platform
Ship working code using React on the frontend and Kotlin microservices with Postgres on the backend
Deploy and iterate frequently using CIrcleCI and Spinnaker
Quickly gather feedback to inform the next iteration
Learn quickly by building market-leading technology with experienced colleagues
Use L&D budget to fast-track development of specific technical competencies
Carefully monitor services, catching errors before users notice them
Diagnose the root cause of errors and deploy fixes
