Requirements
- 5-7+ years of infrastructure engineering experience
- Proven expertise building and operating systems at scale
- Experience with data stores (PostgreSQL, Redis, DynamoDB)
- Experience with data pipelines
- Experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, Azure)
- Experience with DevOps tooling
- Experience with IaC (Terraform, Pulumi, CloudFormation)
- Track record working with high-volume, mission-critical systems (websocket feeds, real-time data flows, payment rails, distributed architectures)
- Actively uses AI tooling for architecture decisions, observability, debugging
- Strong experience with monitoring stacks (Datadog, Grafana, Prometheus, ELK)
- Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Experience with modern CI/CD pipelines
- Proven consulting/contracting experience with strong client management skills
- Excellent communication abilities for explaining technical tradeoffs and infrastructure decisions
- FinTech experience strongly preferred
Responsibilities
- Embed with client teams to advise and architect scalable infrastructure solutions for high-growth crypto and FinTech applications
- Lead strategy discussions and manage project timelines for complex system migrations and scaling initiatives
- Design and implement robust data pipelines, real-time streaming architectures, and distributed systems that handle demanding workloads across web3 applications and protocols
- Build and optimize cloud infrastructure with comprehensive observability solutions to ensure system reliability, performance, and rapid incident response
- Architect solutions that bridge traditional FinTech infrastructure with web3 systems - handling blockchain node management, indexing pipelines, high-frequency data feeds, and unique crypto-native requirements
- Uplevel client engineering teams through mentorship, improved DevOps practices, enhanced platform reliability, and help grow our team's capabilities by experimenting with cutting-edge infrastructure tools
