Software Engineer (Backend): FPP

5+ years experience working as an engineer using a compiled language Proven ability to design, architect, debug, test, and create well-documented code Production experience in asynchronous messaging with micro services Understanding of common design patterns and principles Demonstrated ability to translate abstract challenges into clear, actionable steps and solutions Experience in taking a product from initiation through the go to market phase Experience in fiat payments, card payments or exposure to banking infrastructure / integrations is advantageous Open to participate in out of hours on call rota

Collaborate with product team to iterate fast and deliver results Translate from technical to non-technical with stakeholders Advocate for the simplest but most effective approach Develop future-proof products, focusing on delivering quality code Contribute to engineering culture and standards
