Backend Developer (Remote from Germany)

6+ years of professional experience in backend engineering, with a strong focus on distributed systems. Proven ability to design, implement, and operate scalable and resilient backend architectures. Strong programming skills in TypeScript and Node.js, or Golang, with a solid understanding of clean code principles. Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and modern CI/CD pipelines. Good understanding of networking fundamentals. Self-driven and autonomous working style. Passion for robust system design, performance optimization, and technical excellence. Experience with microservices architectures and production-grade backend environments.

Design, build, and maintain distributed backend services for large-scale network data. Contribute to architectural redesign of a core discovery system. Lead and support migration of backend services to Docker and Kubernetes. Define and implement deployment, scaling, and reliability strategies. Write high-quality backend code using Node.js and TypeScript, with opportunities in Go. Collaborate with backend, frontend, and network engineers. Improve system performance, observability, and resilience. Integrate and maintain messaging, caching, and database components (RabbitMQ, Redis, PostgreSQL).
