Senior Software Engineer - SRE, Backend (Reliability Engineering)

4+ years of experience designing, developing, and launching backend systems at scale using languages like Python or Kotlin. Track record of developing highly available distributed systems using technologies like AWS, MySQL, and Kubernetes. 4+ years working in a Site Reliability or Production Engineering team. Experience defining a technical plan for feature/system component delivery with an elegant, simple, and extensible design. Proficient at making significant changes in a large code base. Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Own and deliver quarterly goals for the team. Lead engineers through ambiguity to solve open-ended problems. Support peers and stakeholders in the product development lifecycle. Proactively identify and lead the resolution of project, process, technology, or business issues. Support the operations and availability of team's artifacts. Foster a culture of quality and ownership on the team. Help develop talent on the team by providing feedback and guidance.
