Senior Site Reliability Engineer - Data Pipeline

Articulate contributions that transformed engineer workflows and thinking through DevOps/SRE culture. Demonstrate impactful work as an SRE or DevOps Engineer connected to business success. Understand and embrace the 'you build - you run it' principle. Be mindful of service running costs. Believe in Infrastructure as Code (IaC). Proficient with Terraform. Familiar with HELM deployments. Use telemetry data and metrics to provide feedback to engineers. Navigate complex service architecture using distributed debugging. Experience with Python and solid grasp of engineering practices. Experience with Go or ETL pipelines is a plus. Willing to participate in OnCall rotation 24/7 support. Able to behave effectively in a remote-first environment. Ability to learn and adapt to new technologies and processes.

Build and maintain an ecosystem for engineers to develop, debug, and operate services in GCP, Kubernetes using DataFlow, DataProc and Python with Go. Ensure services have high observability. Enable services to scale vertically and horizontally based on load and telemetry data. Provide insights into service health using Grafana, Alerting, and PageDuty. Fulfill security requirements for ISO and SOC2 audits by enforcing security principles. Contribute to tooling for debugging, troubleshooting, and performance testing. Automate manual/semi-manual deployment and instance setup steps. Participate in L3 support and incident resolution. Ensure CI pipelines have linters, security scans, and code smell detection.
