Estimator (Residential Construction)

Minimum three years of hands-on experience in construction takeoffs and budgeting. At least one year of expertise working with US residential construction budgets, materials, and scopes. Expert-level proficiency with Microsoft Excel, including advanced formulas. Ability to understand, dissect, and manipulate large, complex spreadsheets. Prior experience with takeoff software like Bluebeam or PlanSwift is preferred. Exceptional problem-solving skills and analytical thinking. High level of accuracy and attention to detail. Ability to quickly master new processes and tools.

Prepare detailed residential construction budgets and material takeoffs from architectural drawings. Generate initial drafts of residential contracts. Maintain and improve Excel-based databases for pricing and cost data. Convert scopes of work into itemized documents. Maintain and suggest improvements for Excel budgeting tools. Check estimates for inconsistencies and errors. Work with company principal using Monday.com and WhatsApp.
