Team Lead Data Engineer (Digital Marketing sphere)

Desire and readiness to perform team lead and tech lead roles. 5+ years of experience in Java. Strong knowledge of algorithms and data structures. Readiness to deep dive into legacy codebase. Experience with SQL DBs. Solid experience with Kafka, streaming systems, microservices. Experience in dealing with performance and high scale systems. Understanding of Hadoop/Spark/big data tools. Experience with Kubernetes (advantage). Experience with Gitlab, Grafana, InfluxDB, Airflow, Redis, Scala (advantage). Analytical thinking. Reliability and confidence with production issues. Passion for new solutions and improvements. Good people management and communication skills. Team leadership experience (big advantage). English - at least solid B1+.

Perform team lead/people management role for 3 engineers (1:1s, motivation, feedback, mentoring). Perform tech lead role for a team of 5 engineers (coordination, task distribution, technical assistance). End-to-end development and ownership. Implement high scale Big-Data solutions. Research core technologies and integrations. Work with various stakeholders. Participate in off-hours Pager Duty.
