Requirements
- 7+ years of professional software engineering experience with Node.js and AWS
- 2+ years of experience leading engineering teams
- Significant experience with AI-assisted software development
- Strong background designing and scaling backend services and APIs
- Experience managing production infrastructure in a serverless or distributed environment
- Proven track record delivering reliable, customer-facing SaaS products
- Strong communication skills
Responsibilities
- Lead daily standups and coordinate sprint execution
- Drive technical design discussions and architecture decisions
- Own and lead code reviews and source code standards
- Mentor engineers and foster a culture of clean code
- Guide contractors and internal developers
- Plan, coordinate, and oversee production releases
- Own uptime, reliability, and observability of production systems
- Monitor and optimize cloud vendor cost and utilization
- Partner with Product to shape feature priorities
- Interface with third-party partners
- Champion DevOps best practices and CI/CD automation
- Contribute to engineering hiring and onboarding
