Senior Software Engineer - Conversation - Remote from France

7+ years experience in backend development using TypeScript & NodeJS. Focus on security, scalability, availability, and performance. Extensive experience with AWS in a production environment, preferably for high volume/high availability services. Understanding of how to design for, deploy on, and optimize AWS services. Rigor with code quality and engineering best practices (testability, maintainability). Accustomed to using systems like Jira, Confluence, GitLab, GitHub. Experience with Clean Code, Clean Architecture, Test Driven Development, Behaviour Driven Development, and Continuous Integration/Deployment. Effective and proactive communication skills for collaboration. Proven experience with Domain Driven Design is a plus.

Design, development, deployment, and operation of business-critical features. Write clean, scalable code using TypeScript/NodeJS and deploy applications. Analyze requirements, design solutions, and lead end-to-end delivery of key modules. Optimize product and platform performance and monitor live sites. Mentor junior team members. Participate in an on-call rotation for critical system issues.
