Requirements
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Manufacturing Engineering, technical or related field preferred
- 5+ years in engineering and manufacturing environment in 3D printing
- Knowledge of optimum 3D printing technology and material selections, printing cycle times, material limitations and costs and geometry limitations
- Experience working with suppliers, OEM equipment providers, and customers
- Knowledge of GD&T and inspection/QA practices of the USA is a plus
- Experience with 3D printing software (Materialise Magics, Rhino - Rhinoceros 3D)
- Ability to identify design for manufacturing (DFM) issues based on 3D models and drawings
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement applicable sourcing strategy
- Aid production in troubleshooting order execution
- Interface directly with 3D printing shops, internal staff, and customers
- Take on special projects related to expanding manufacturing capabilities
