Estimator (Architectural Sheet Metal) - Work from home

Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, Engineering, or related field preferred. Minimum 5 years’ experience as an Estimator in construction, with a focus on architectural sheet metal projects. Strong knowledge of sheet metal fabrication processes. Proven ability to read, interpret, and take-off from complex architectural and structural drawings. Proficiency with estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel essential). Strong mathematical, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Excellent negotiation skills and commercial awareness. Ability to manage multiple bids and deadlines simultaneously. Exceptional attention to detail. Strong communication and relationship-building skills.

Prepare accurate and competitive cost estimates for architectural sheet metal projects. Analyse architectural drawings, specifications, and blueprints. Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure accurate bids. Utilise estimating software. Evaluate and negotiate subcontractor proposals. Support project teams with cost monitoring and financial reporting. Maintain knowledge of materials and industry innovations. Ensure estimates adhere to company standards and deadlines.
