Requirements
- B.S. Electrical Engineering or Trade School equivalent in PLC/Controls Engineering or Combination of Education and Experience equivalent.
- Capable of managing stressful situations.
- Maintain strong analytical, verbal and written communication.
- 1-2 Years controls field installation/commissioning.
- Experience in following and executing multiple tasks, ability to keep track of multiple tasks and complete them all with updates and reports communicated where appropriate.
- Knowledge of designing/commissioning/troubleshooting controls systems (i.e. Rockwell, Siemens, GE, Square D, etc.) is a plus.
- Knowledge of industrial controls networks (i.e. Ethernet/IP, ControlNet, DeviceNet, etc.) is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Participate in electrical control design and commissioning.
- Utilize standards in electrical controls design, PLC programming and commissioning.
- Support customers and execute a business strategy.
- Follow all safety guidelines.
- Understand project schedules and scope of work.
- Understand project requirements, specifications, and equipment functionality.
- Contribute to the team and react to change.
- Communicate well and often with Project Managers and/or Controls Manager.
- Complete defined tests from Kuecker Pulse Integration standard testing documents and check sheets.
- Communicate well with customers during testing processes.
- Ensure quality of field installations.
