Smart Contract Engineer

Relevant tertiary qualifications in computer science or closely related field, and/or relevant work experience. At least 1 year of experience writing production smart contracts. Willingness to learn and flex into other languages and runtimes as needed. High agency and ability to effect desired outcomes. Obsession and pride in building great experiences. Highly collaborative with internal team, Wormhole collaborators, and customers. Care deeply about business outcomes and challenge unclear priorities.

Contribute to the development of smart contracts on blockchains like Ethereum, Solana, Sui, and Aptos. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate customer requirements into smart contract code. Follow secure smart contract development best practices and build future best practices. Maintain and improve Wormhole's testing framework and thoroughly test code. Stay up to date with the latest smart contract technology, tooling, best practices, and industry trends.
