Senior Software Engineer, Network & Protocol Team (Remote)

Expertise in routing and fast-path (e.g., FRR, Babel, OLSR, batman-adv, DPDK, Segment Routing) Expertise in transport and multipath (e.g., TCP, QUIC/MP-QUIC, MPTCP, congestion control, subflow management, failover policy design) Expertise in telemetry and observability (e.g., RTT, loss, cwnd metrics, perf, ftrace, pcap, mptcpd, gNMI/streaming telemetry) Experience with wireless and edge networking (e.g., CGNAT, captive portals, cellular/wireless links, multipath over mixed networks) Experience with hardware and applied domains (e.g., PHY bring-up, schematics interpretation, robotics/autonomy networks) Leadership and collaboration skills including mentorship, clear documentation, and cross-functional technical guidance

Define and evolve the end-to-end edge data-plane architecture Establish SLOs and their measurement plans, dashboards, and alerts Lead design reviews, RFCs, and implementation plans Build first-class telemetry Design and run experiments with QEMU and hardware-in-the-loop Partner with embedded/firmware on BSP, drivers, OTA/rollback, secure boot, and device observability Support deployments, capture traces, triage issues, and tune policies Mentor engineers, raise documentation and reliability standards, and help hire the team
