Software Engineer, Shell - AI Training (Freelance, Remote)

Expertise in Shell: POSIX-compliant scripting, environment management, process control, and text manipulation tools (e.g., awk, sed, grep). 3–5 years of experience in Shell scripting or Unix/Linux system administration is a plus. Bachelor’s degree (or pursuing one) in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. Master’s or PhD preferred. Deep interest in AI, automation, or low-level system tooling.

Review Shell scripts for correctness, efficiency, and idiomatic command usage. Solve practical automation and system-level tasks using Shell scripting and explain your process. Identify and correct flaws in AI output or unclear script logic. Summarize your approach and decision-making clearly and concisely.
