AMRT Principal Engineer - Annular

Bachelor of Science in Engineering, Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, or Computer Science Significant experience in Annular HGP or Combustion repair or design Strong experience working as a technical leader in gas turbine HGP/Combustor repair or design

Identify, develop, evaluate, and introduce engineering solutions to meet near term and long range product and process plans for Annular HGP and Combustion repairs supporting the repair value steam network Provide technical consultation on the repair of all Annular Combustion and HGP hardware throughout the repair value stream business including external suppliers where appropriate Lead and provide the key technical direction to large projects with critical business impact. Maintain an active role in developing and defining the state of the art HGP and Combustion repairs in order to anticipate, apply, adapt or develop technologies for product introduction, quality, performance, cost improvements and problem resolution in meeting current and future business needs including adherence to schedules and estimated costs. Actively engage in the mentorship and technical development of global team of engineers across all repair value stream shops and engineering centers with a focus on Annular hardware. Work directly with Repair Engineering leadership team to identify gaps and create new standard work around training, development, and daily management for repair engineering organization. Prepare invention disclosures to protect technology that gives the business a competitive advantage, as well as protecting the intellectual property rights of the company. Be a Helpful resource to all levels of AMRT team and encourage dialogue between all groups to breakdown silos and improve team communication
