Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in related field required
  • 4-5+ years of related sales experience preferred
  • Proven track record of exceeding sales objectives.
  • Deep understanding of industry standards and regulations, including UL, IEEE, NEC, and IEC.
  • Exceptional communication and negotiation skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of customer and market dynamics.
  • Exceptional ability to prospect, qualify, and close new customers.
  • Willingness to travel as required.
  • This individual must live in or around Northern California and the surrounding area.
Responsibilities:
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within regional industries.
  • Understand market trends and customer needs to effectively position our products.
  • Drive innovation by pinpointing product gaps and championing new product development projects.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to solve problems, remove barriers and provide exceptional value ensuring customer needs are met and fostering satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Present and explain our product features and benefits to customers, using technical knowledge to demonstrate how our products meet their needs.
  • Engage with both national and regional channel partners to leverage their exposure and resources to earn share in the market.
  • Team up with inside sales, product management and other departments to develop winning sales strategies and improve product offerings and deliver above quota growth.
