Senior Software Engineer (Golang, Kubernetes) - Cloud Compute Team (open to remote across ANZ)

Strong Computer Engineering / Science knowledge around fundamentals and first principles relating to concurrency, multithreading, data structures, architecture, and various design patterns Experience as a Senior Software Engineer building platform products Strong experience operating Kubernetes clusters in production environments Strong understanding of Linux systems and performance troubleshooting Experience with infrastructure as code and automation Understanding of cloud networking and security principles Experience with observability systems and practices Methodical approach to problem-solving and debugging

Designing, building, and maintaining core Kubernetes infrastructure components Extending and supporting tooling to build and manage virtual machines Investigating and resolving system performance and reliability issues Creating and refining automation to improve reliability and reduce operational overhead Being on-call for the team's products and drive operational excellence Share knowledge with other engineers in infrastructure best practices
