Structural Engineer

BA/BS and 4+ years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education Professional Engineering (PE) License (Preferred) Master's Degree in Structural or Civil Engineering (Preferred) CAD, REVIT Skills (Preferred) Knowledge of computer analysis and design software such as SAP 2000, RISA 3D, STAAD.Pro, SAFE and (or equivalent) (Preferred)

Support the Structural Department with the layout and design of hydraulic structures, water and wastewater treatment facilities, and other related structures. Performs work, which may include a variety of complex features such as conflicting design requirements, unsuitability of conventional materials, and difficult coordination requirements. Independently prepare engineering related calculations. Review work prepared by other engineers within the department. Develop structural technical specifications, plans, and details. Verify compliance with applicable codes and engineering standards/ practices. Coordinate with other in-house engineering disciplines as needed. Perform condition assessments and site visits as needed.
