Provide on site technical direction, hands on service and leadership during maintenance and servicing activities at customer owned facilities. Prepare job planning documents that define the scope of work to be performed through engineering instructions, drawings, and process instructions; Communicate effectively with Management and Colleagues utilizing customers’ CTQs (Critical to Quality needs) in job planning and execution; You will work independently on the implementation of fault analyses and repair of wind turbine generator systems in the UK, including clarification of any client queries Documentation of call-out responses, fault finding and repair work in service reports, logbooks and checklists Coordination of external and internal service providers and contractors on site Maintain a strong safety culture and mindset to ensure all executed work reflects GE and customer technical and EHS requirements Willing to work and fulfil on-call obligations for out of normal working hours if required. (e.g. weekend working) Perform administrative functions such as writing technical reports, ordering materials, securing quotations, preparing job status reports, reports to customers, time sheets and expense sheets in a thorough, complete and timely basis;
