Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience collaborating with partners and senior professional services stakeholders within a law firm environment; applicants may have previously worked within a campus recruitment & development role.
  • Coaching or L&D qualification and brings 8 years of experience working within a professional services environment (law firm preferred)
  • Can review, interpret, and preset datasets for management information packs (strong Excel; PowerPoint and Officer365 skills)
  • Ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities, and exercise good judgment.
  • Demonstrates the ability to work well under pressure and to meet deadlines.
  • Detail oriented with ability to multi-task.
  • Excellent interpersonal, oral/written communication skills
  • Handles confidential material with discretion.
Responsibilities:
  • Tracks, analyzes, and reports on attorney productivity, availability, utilization, and professional development.
  • Provides partner team with regular data on attorney utilization and availability to maximize effectiveness of resourcing planning.
  • Logging and overseeing associates’ CLE to maximize the variety of work, exposure to different partners ensuring their development of new, core skills.
  • Implementing a performance evaluation process for associates.
  • Tracking and facilitating the realization of Professional Development Priorities identified during review processes.
  • Working with practice leaders to identify training needs and skill gaps across the fee-earner teams and organizing appropriate training programs to address those needs.
  • Collaborating with HR colleagues to design and roll-out a new associate onboarding and orientation program.
