Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, business or equivalent work experience
• Strong math, bookkeeping and/or accounting aptitude with attention to detail
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and related software platforms
• Knowledge of property and casualty insurance industry and applicable Workers’ Compensation and General Liability regulations and classifications preferred
• Ability to analyze, research and resolve audit issues
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work independently as well as with others under minimal supervision needed
• Ability to manage multiple tasks while meeting deadlines
• Travel required; a valid driver’s license with an acceptable motor vehicle report per company standards required if traveling

Responsibilities:

• Meets with insureds to accurately audit exposures.
• Completes audits by reviewing policyholder financial records.
• Determines correct exposures and classifications.
• Prepares detailed reports of audit findings.
• Provides description of insured’s business operations.
• Resolves any audit dispute.
• Completes audit summaries.
• Schedules future audits.
