Requirements:
  • Proven experience in content licensing, IP sales, or business development, preferably in publishing, technology, or healthcare
  • Strong understanding of copyright, digital rights, and licensing principles
  • Demonstrated success in identifying and converting new business opportunities into long-term partnerships
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels
  • Ability to work independently on complex deals while collaborating across teams to ensure delivery
  • Experience with CRM systems like Salesforce and comfort with reporting and forecasting tools
  • Strategic thinking and customer-first mindset, with a focus on sustainable revenue growth
Responsibilities:
  • Drive outbound business development to identify and secure new digital content licensing partnerships
  • Develop strategic licensing proposals tailored to third-party platform integration and software solutions
  • Lead complex licensing negotiations, working independently with support from senior leadership as needed
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with both new and existing clients across global markets
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders including the corporate subscription and AI licensing teams to deliver a cohesive licensing strategy
  • Create and execute strategic sales plans, build a qualified pipeline, and meet or exceed revenue targets
  • Maintain and update CRM records (e.g., Salesforce) and generate performance insights for internal reporting
  • Contribute to the development of innovative licensing models and pricing strategies that balance commercial goals with copyright principles
