Requirements:
  • 3-5 years of experience in a sales development or inside sales role, with at least 1 year in a leadership or player/coach capacity
  • Proven track record of team performance and personal quota attainment
  • A team-first mindset with strong interpersonal and communication skills—you’re a motivator, coach and a relationship builder
  • Understanding of the employer benefits space and/or health plan industry
  • Experience working with or selling through health plan ASO, channel or strategic partnerships is a major plus
  • Highly organized with a bias toward action and continuous improvement
Responsibilities:
  • Oversee a team of SDRs, providing coaching, mentorship and professional development
  • Partner closely with the SDR team to refine outreach strategies, share best practices, and drive consistent performance that unlocks ambitious growth goals
  • Pioneer innovative new strategies, e.g., via technology and AI to enhance SDR scale and performance
  • Monitor performance metrics and adjust strategies, tactics and alignment to deliver on key OKRs
  • Lead regular team syncs, call reviews, enablement sessions and pipeline jams to learn from each other and evolve our approach.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, and Business Ops to ensure our systems, messaging, and targets are aligned for success.
  • Research, map and understand relationships with our strategic health plan partners
  • Partner closely with partnership and sales teams to develop outreach strategies that build new connections with key stakeholders and AEs
  • Leverage a combination of traditional and more unconventional tactics to expand Virta’s foothold with strategic health plan partners
