Requirements:

Experience developing and optimizing ETL workflows using common data engineering tools (e.g., Airflow, Python, SQL, spark) to centralize data from disparate systems into a single source of truth.

Proficient in SQL: window functions and CTEs are part of our daily work.

Designed and developed interactive BI dashboards and reports that provide actionable insights for stakeholders across the organization, enabling data-driven decision-making.

Experience in sales and marketing tech stack systems like Salesforce, Hubspot, and/or Bizible.

Worked in a Hadoop ecosystem before (in the day-to-day, we use Impala, Hive, and Spark) or have experience with Snowflake or Redshift.

Know and love working on business intelligence solutions: we use Looker as our platform, but experience with a different tool and an ability to learn can go a long way.

Highly collaborative and experienced in working with business owners, executives, developers, and creative teams to discuss data, strategy, and tests.

Care deeply about the user experience when it comes to dashboards and reports, and have crafted creative solutions to identify and surface trends, changes, and anomalies in reporting.

Experience working across teams to deliver analytics solutions and are familiar with the common metrics of software as a service (SaaS) business.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.

Able to communicate clearly with and about data to technical and non-technical partners.

Responsibilities:

Work closely with our CMO, CFO, and other leaders and ICs in Marketing, Sales, Product, CS, and Finance.

Design database models and build ETL pipelines via Airflow and other tools to access data from sources such as Hubspot, Salesforce, Pendo, Gainsight, Google Sheets, and our proprietary platform and make it available through a relational SQL database and Looker.

Build Looks and Dashboards in Looker to analyze common enterprise technology data, including: customer product usage, churn, net revenue retention, sales productivity, CAC payback periods, and sales and marketing funnels.

Perform ad hoc analyses on financial and other metrics, on sales and marketing activities, and on customer behavior and needs.

Build strong relationships with teams and individuals throughout our organization to understand existing needs and find opportunities to use analytics to accelerate business growth.

Assist the organization in raising data quality by double-checking and auditing data from different sources, documenting issues, driving resolutions together with other teams, and creating the central “source of truth” for all our data.

Deliver strategic insights and produce reports on customer usage and behavior for marketing purposes.

Performance Tracking: Monitor and track marketing campaign performance, including ROI, customer acquisition, and engagement metrics. Identify areas for improvement and optimization.
