Senior Front End Developer (m/f/d)

Requirements:

• Profound JavaScript programming skills and familiarity with the entire JavaScript ecosystem.
• Deep knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, and React and related frameworks (preferably Redux).
• Solid understanding of system architecture and data modelling.
• Good command of English.
• Knowledge of npm.
• Experience with unit-tests with Jest and Enzyme.
• 5+ years of relevant working experience.
• Knowledge of TypeScript.
• Experience with modern agile software development (Continuous Integration, Automation Testing).
• Experience catering for non-functional requirements including stability, manageability, scalability, capacity, and performance.
• Proficient skills with tools used in software development (e.g., JIRA, Git, …).

Responsibilities:

• Design and implement high-quality client-side code.
• Develop scalable, reliable, and secure mobile and web applications.
• Assure quality via testing, validating data, and implementing best practices.
• Build, test, and deploy new product features in line with the business specifications.
• Make sure produced code is secure, stable, and operating efficiently.
• Perform code reviews.
• Mentor more junior front end team members in technical questions.
• Provide input for the technological development of client applications (e.g., architecture, refactoring).
• Discuss solution proposals and roadmaps with the team and line manager.
• Ensure reusability of developed components and that the knowledge base of the team keeps up.
• Support API development together with the backend team.
