Requirements:
- 4+ years of experience in Key Account Management within the CPG industry, particularly in small format retail
- Strong presentation skills and experience pitching to retail buyers
- Ability to analyze data and apply insights to business planning (experience with Circana, Vividly, and VIP preferred)
- Exceptional collaboration skills and experience working with cross-functional teams
- Comfort working in a fast-paced, high-growth environment with adaptability to changing market conditions
- Must have a valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Willingness to travel up to 40% across domestic markets
Responsibilities:
- Manage and grow relationships with key accounts including Sheetz, EG America, GPM, and regional partners
- Balance new business development (20%) with account growth and retention (80%)
- Lead planning and execution of trade strategies, promotions, and product placement initiatives
- Analyze syndicated data to identify trends and opportunities, delivering accurate volume and profitability forecasts
- Collaborate with internal departments such as Operations, Customer Service, and Finance to ensure alignment and execution
- Conduct market visits, buyer meetings, and attend trade shows to support sales initiatives
- Ensure distributor execution meets defined KPIs including 90% fill rates
