Requirements:
- 10+ years of progressive experience in IT Delivery or Release Management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- Proven experience defining and implementing release management strategies and processes.
- Strong understanding of SDLC, CI/CD pipelines, Agile, and ITIL frameworks.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Strategic thinker with a strong focus on process improvement and operational efficiency.
- Experience with enterprise release management tools and platforms.
- Knowledge of risk and change management.
- Certification in Agile, Scrum, or ITIL is a plus.
Responsibilities:
- Define and implement the overall release management strategy and processes.
- Establish governance frameworks for release planning, scheduling, and execution.
- Continuously assess and refine release policies, standards, and procedures for improvement.
- Ensure alignment with product and development timelines.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement in release processes.
- Make high-level decisions on release scheduling, resource allocation, risk management, and process enhancements.
- Serve as the escalation point for any issues impacting release timelines or quality.
- Align release management goals with broader organizational objectives.
- Coordinate and communicate with executive leadership, stakeholders, delivery teams, QA, DevOps, and other key groups.
- Ensure alignment between product delivery timelines and organizational priorities.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to communicate release schedules and changes.
- Monitor and evaluate release effectiveness, identifying areas for continuous improvement.
- Develop and report KPIs related to release cadence, success rate, and deployment efficiency.
