Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a dispatcher, specifically in the towing or roadside assistance industry.
  • Familiarity with Towbook dispatch software is highly preferred.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Capability to work under pressure and make informed decisions quickly.
  • Knowledge of local road networks and geographical areas is advantageous.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities:
  • Handle incoming calls from customers requesting towing and roadside assistance services.
  • Collect essential information such as location, vehicle type, and reason for service.
  • Utilize Towbook dispatch software to enter, track, and manage service requests accurately.
  • Dispatch tow trucks and service personnel based on urgency and availability.
  • Monitor the status and location of tow trucks to ensure prompt responses.
  • Maintain communication with customers regarding estimated arrival times and service updates.
  • Document all service interactions and maintain accurate records within Towbook.
  • Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
  • Collaborate with drivers and team members to optimize operational efficiency.
