Requirements:
  • 5+ years of experience in a technical pre-sales, sales engineer, solutions architecture, or developer relations role, ideally in SaaS, APIs, or real-time communication.
  • Strong understanding of APIs, SDKs, and real-time technologies (e.g., Pub/Sub, WebSockets, Socket.io, MQTT or similar protocols)
  • Ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Experience working with modern programming languages (e.g., JavaScript, Swift, Java/Kotlin, Python, Dart, Ruby).
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to design scalable solutions for customers.
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills, comfortable engaging with VP and C-level executives, developers, and product teams.
Responsibilities:
  • Act as a technical consultant, guiding customers through their real-time application development and helping them maximize the value of PubNub
  • Develop tailored architectures that align with customer goals, ensuring seamless integration and scalability.
  • Provide hands-on guidance and best practices on implementing PubNub’s APIs and SDKs across different use cases.
  • Work closely with sales, product, and engineering teams to refine customer strategies, enhance adoption, and improve product offerings.
  • Conduct customer workshops, internal knowledge-sharing sessions, and contribute to technical documentation to support customer success.
