Requirements:

• Experience handling conveyancing matters from start to end independently
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in residential conveyancing, preferably with exposure to the Australian property market.
• Strong knowledge of Australian property law.
• Proficiency with electronic conveyancing platforms such as PEXA.
• Excellent communication skills.
• NSW conveyancing qualifications (minimum requirement), QLD and VIC qualifications/experience highly desirable
• High degree of self-motivation, resourcefulness, discipline, and accountability to work autonomously.
• Ability to manage multiple transactions and work under pressure.
• Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and review conveyancing documents.
• Serve as the main contact for expat clients.
• Work with mortgage brokers, lenders, agents.
• Perform title searches.
• Manage settlements, including using the PEXA platform.
• Develop and implement processes, workflows, and best practices to establish a fully operational in-house conveyancing practice.
• Recruit, train, and mentor additional conveyancing staff.
• Oversee the day-to-day operations of the conveyancing practice.
• Plan and develop the Conveyancing business unit to deliver nation-wide settlement capabilities.
