Requirements:
  • 5+ years of professional experience relating to partnerships, business development, strategy, or product management
  • Experience developing, growing and optimizing key strategic B2B partnerships which are product-led and integration based, aligning business incentives with great user experiences.
  • Have a strong network to find the right partners for the company
  • Strong product sense, and comfort with considering basic technical feasibility of partner integration
  • A passion to grow a new promising line of business in the company
  • Excellent negotiations and communication skills, with the ability to lead and handle multiple partners at once without sacrificing attention to detail
Responsibilities:
  • Grow and manage new and existing Channel partnerships, under our rapidly growing Reseller Partnerships portfolio.
  • Identify strategic reseller partners and bring these opportunities to life from first contact to integration and launch.
  • Develop business proposals, structure projections and KPIs, and negotiate contracts.
  • Develop revenue models for partners' integrations projections and demonstrate opportunity size and impact to stakeholders.
  • Maintain direct and active relationships with partners, including proactively resolving business and technical issues and serving as an internal advocate
  • Become a subject matter expert in Squarespace's APIs, solutions and capabilities, in order to vet opportunities based on technical implementation while balancing business needs.
  • Communicate market opportunities, needs and partner feedback to teams to inform product roadmap and prioritization
  • Collaborate with design, product, engineering, legal, finance, marketing, and PR to launch new reseller partnerships
  • Track and communicate partner metrics, industry trends and the impact of these partnerships on business goals
  • Manage partnership pipeline and activities, develop rationale for identified opportunities, and validate of deal rationale and viability
  • Represent Squarespace in external meetings with senior executives from other companies
